Mosia Farms
A full business site for a family agricultural business, plus the measurement system behind it. A live Looker Studio performance dashboard runs on real traffic, and every promoter has their own referral link, so the business can see who drove which traffic and what came of it.
01 Problem
A family agricultural business selling livestock, feed, equipment and beverages had no site of its own. It also had no way of telling which of the people promoting it were actually bringing anyone in. Word of mouth was doing the work, and nobody could say whose word of mouth it was.
02 Approach
Build the site the business needed, and wire the measurement in at the same time instead of leaving it as a later phase. The public pages and the reporting behind them shipped as one job, so the business never had a period of running blind.
03 Architecture
React and Tailwind, deployed on Netlify. The site covers the four product divisions with a quote request on each, alongside events and occasions, a gallery, testimonials and contact. Google Analytics 4 runs on the live site and feeds a Looker Studio dashboard the business can open at any time. Every promoter gets their own tagged referral link, so visits arriving through it show up against that promoter in the same reporting.
- Four product divisions covered: livestock, animal feed, agricultural equipment and beverages
- Quote request on every division, with a WhatsApp route alongside it
- Events, gallery, testimonials and contact pages on the same site
- Google Analytics 4 on the live site, feeding a Looker Studio performance dashboard
- A tagged referral link per promoter, so traffic and enquiries are attributed to whoever sent them

04 A decision I am proud of
Giving every promoter their own link rather than one shared address. It costs nothing to issue, and it turns an argument into a number: the business can see who sent which traffic and what came of it, without asking anyone to report on themselves. The dashboard works on the same principle. A site that cannot tell you whether it worked is a site you have to take on faith, so I build sites that report on themselves.
05 Outcome
The site is live at mosiafarms.co.za. The dashboard runs on real traffic instead of a monthly report someone has to assemble by hand, and referral performance per promoter sits in the same view.
